The level of meaning and detail in Your Stupid War by ~nihcru is what makes this piece something memorable. A closer look reveals that the artist is depicting something more sinister than just childrens games. (Suggested by `lucias-tears and Featured by ~randomcasualty)

incredible, i feel honored to have the first comment on this one! i adore the soft hazyness of this piece, nd the shadows creeping up behind the two boys, suggesting something far more sinister than children playing. how you manage to incorate such detail and meaning into your work is beyond me

That is an amazing amount of detail and realism for an oil painting. I can clearly see you put alot of effort into this. The patterns of the clothes, the water(?) pistols, skin tones, expressions, and shadow are all amazing. Very much deserving on the DD.

This is beautiful, If I saw this in the gallery, it's one piece i would sit before for hours just thinking and reading more into the piece.

This is brilliant work, realistic and colourfull but more importantly a strong comment at a time when a lot of talented artists don't seem to have the guts to say a word.
